ATYRAU, May 19, 2022 – Tengizchevroil (TCO) announced today upcoming changes to the company’s leadership team. Effective June 1st, Konilkosh Suyessinov will assume the role of TCO Deputy General Director. Konilkosh Suyessinov’s nomination as Deputy General Director was based on his significant international experience in petroleum projects as a senior executive from KazMunaiGas (KMG).
TCO’s current Deputy General Director, Aibek Krambayev, will be moving to another opportunity on June 1st. Throughout over two years of service at TCO, Aibek Krambayev has strengthened the company’s work with the Republic of Kazakhstan, overseen crisis response activities related to the COVID-19 pandemic and helped advance the company’s Kazakhstani Content Development activities, among other priority activities.
TCO General Manager of Policy, Government, and Public Affairs (PGPA), Rzabek Artygaliev, has decided to retire after almost 21 years of distinguished service. For the past 12 years, Rzabek Artygaliev has served as General Manager of PGPA. Throughout his tenure, he has been a tremendous asset to TCO in advancing our partnerships with key stakeholders, government, communities where we operate and the TCO workforce.

Effective June 1st, Darmen Aronov will assume the role of TCO General Manager, PGPA. Darmen Aronov’s nomination as General Manager, PGPA is based on his significant professional experience and qualifications in the international oil and gas industry over his 24-year career. Darmen Aronov has served the past 14 years in managerial roles at KMG and, for the last two years, he has managed the Tengiz Project Department in KMG.
